Home Pet Euthanasia
At this emotional and challenging time, Pet Hospice Care of North Jersey (PHC) will provide you with the assistance for our hospice patient or home pet euthanasia. We currently service families in Northeast Morris, Passaic & Northwest Bergen Counties, NJ. PHC will facilitate the peaceful passing of your pet at home in a loving environment. Before home pet euthanasia, we will present and review a plan for your pet so that your family can grieve the loss of your pet. Your pet will feel safe and secure without the fear or anxiety of travel and strange surroundings. If it is right for your family, you can be there to comfort your pet and say your final goodbye.
At the discretion of the PHC team member, we may offer a sedative to your loved one. The procedure involves an intravenous injection of an anesthetic that is appropriately dosed for home pet euthanasia. It is a gentle, peaceful and kind act of love. Many people prefer not to be present which is acceptable and appropriate for those individuals or family members. Those who choose to be present frequently comment about how the passing of their dear pet is quick, respectful, without fear, anxiety or pain.
